This project involved designing and developing the Tammy World e-commerce website, a bilingual single-vendor storefront for a handcrafted and artistically decorated product brand. The product range includes items decorated with shells, ceramics, and other artistic materials, and the brief called for a clean, professional shopping experience that lets the craftsmanship speak for itself. The website was built on WordPress and WooCommerce by TeamX, covering brand identity, UI/UX design, a fully bilingual storefront in Arabic and English with proper RTL layout support, cart and checkout, payment and shipping integrations, WhatsApp live chat, and a complete admin panel.

Building a bilingual storefront rather than a translated one required the RTL layout to be designed and implemented as a first-class experience for Arabic rather than a mirrored adaptation of the English layout. Every component in the library, every product card, navigation element, form, and checkout step needed to function correctly and look intentional in both directions. Handcrafted and artisan products are highly visual and tactile by nature, so presenting them in a digital environment that communicates their quality through photography, layout, and product detail required careful design balance between clean professionalism and warmth. The discount coupon system needed to support multiple rule types: percentage and fixed amount, minimum order value, usage limits, and expiry dates, all manageable without developer involvement, which required WooCommerce's coupon logic to be configured precisely. Integrating WhatsApp as both a floating live chat channel and a per-product quick-contact link required consistent implementation across the storefront without disrupting the browsing experience.
The project began with brand identity development, producing logo variations, a colour palette, and typography guidelines that carried through every page of the website.
Once the visual direction was approved, UI/UX design proceeded across all pages and breakpoints, with mirrored RTL layouts designed in parallel for the Arabic version from the start.
The website was built on WordPress with WooCommerce as the e-commerce layer, providing a client-manageable e-commerce foundation.
